As a result of the impact, the driver and a 50-year-old woman, a passenger in the car, suffered serious injuries.
The driver was tested with the breathalyzer, and the result was over 0.40 mg/l of pure alcohol in exhaled air.
“On the 24th of April this year, the police officers of the Câmpulung Road Bureau were alerted to a road incident involving a car with two occupants, within the radius of the Aninoasa commune.
From the checks carried out, it was established that a 72-year-old man, from the commune of Aninoasa, who was driving a car on DC 305, within the radius of the place of residence, with the direction of travel from Berevoești to Aninoasa, in circumstances that will be determined from the investigations, in curve to the right, left the roadway and collided with a metal fence.
As a result of the event, both the driver and a 50-year-old woman from the locality, a passenger in the same car, suffered injuries.
During the checks, the driver was tested with the breathalyzer device, resulting in a value higher than the limit of 0.40 mg/l of pure alcohol in exhaled air, for which he was taken to a medical facility for the collection of biological blood samples , in order to establish alcoholemia.
In the case, a criminal file was drawn up according to art. 196 and 336 of the Penal Code, and the checks continue, to establish all the circumstances in which the deed was committed,” Argeș Police reports.
