The current leaders of the Bihor administration, the liberals Ilie Bolojan and Florin Birta, announce that they will run in tandem for new mandates at the head of the Bihor County Council and Oradea City Hall.
“During the meeting of the PNL Bihor County Board of Directors that took place today, April 25, Ilie Bolojan for the position of president of the Bihor County Council and Florin Birta for the position of mayor were nominated as candidates for the local elections on June 9 of the Municipality of Oradea”, it is stated in the press release of the PNL county organization.
The lists of candidates for the Bihor County Council and the Oradea City Council will be announced in the coming days.
We remind you that Bolojan heads the PNL Bihor organization, and he was the mayor of Oradea until 2020, when he transferred to the Bihor County Council. In his place at the City Hall, he left Florin Birta, former deputy mayor, considered Bolojan’s “right hand”. From the new administrative positions, the two leaders cooperated throughout the 2020-2024 mandate, carrying out major investment and development projects both at the county and municipality level.
