Several agricultural machines, including a tractor, burned in a fire that occurred on Wednesday morning in the yard of a company in Săcuieni.
According to a statement sent by the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Crisana, the fire was announced at 112 at 5.50 am. The fire was located on Letea Mare Street in Săcuieni, at the headquarters of an agricultural company.
Two crews of firefighters and one of paramedics from the Săcuieni Fire Station went to the scene.
“When the intervention forces arrived, a tractor, an agricultural machine and a trailer, located in the yard of the company, were burning violently and widely, there was a high risk of the flames spreading to a hall located in the immediate vicinity and to another agricultural machine”, shows in the statement.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the flames in about 25 minutes, thus managing to save a hall and an agricultural combine.
The fire, however, destroyed a tractor, a telescopic manipulator and a trailer.
The release also shows that, most likely, the cause of the fire was electrical in nature.
