Cluj Day | It’s official! Romania has a new seaside resort. It has wide natural beaches and fine sand

The Ministry of Tourism has also established a Destination Management Organization at the seaside, so that, from now on, another resort appears on the map of the coast.

Mommy has a new neighbor. That’s because officially, we have a new seaside resort! The authorities decided that we needed one more Destination Management Organization. The lucky one is Mamaia Nord, which receives a budget from the Ministry of Tourism, and which is different from the already existing Mamaia Destination Management Organization by the simple fact that… it is more towards Năvodari.

The new-old resort boasts wide natural beaches with fine sand, not artificial like those of neighboring Mamaia, writes Mediafax. Among the assets of the North, says the manager of the new destination, we also find new or newly renovated accommodation spaces, a varied range of restaurants and a unique visual identity, which brings to the fore the quality of the services offered.

“In the city of Năvodari and in the resort of Mamaia Nord, areas of land have returned that will be used entirely for parking lots, squares and places of entertainment. I can say this strongly! Everything related to existing land will be transferred to public domain and will be returned to tourism. Moreover, we have also developed certain European projects related to ecological islands, and this means that we will have a clean resort and, of course, we will also have a great control over cleanliness, but also especially over guards, so that the security of tourists on the coast is a priority,” said Florin Chelaru, the mayor of Năvodari, at the press conference to launch the new summer season, according to ct100.ro.

The representatives of OMD Mamaia Nord Năvodari are already preparing the opening of the summer season, and among the surprises they await tourists with is a transport protocol concluded with Kogălniceanu airport, intended to facilitate quick access to the resort for those coming on vacation.

“OMD Mamaia Nord is the only profile organization that has concluded a protocol with Mihail Kogălniceanu International Airport, so that our tourists who choose the air route can reach the seaside quickly and comfortably. Also, because we want to offer an experience that is not only beautiful , but also under conditions of maximum safety, we have signed collaboration protocols with the General Immigration Inspectorate and the Anti-Drug Brigade”, said Mirela Matichescu, OMD Mamaia Nord destination manager.
