Located at a very short distance from Bucharest, the city will have the largest educational campus in Eastern Europe. The revelation was made by the mayor Narcis Constantin and the president of the Ilfov County Council, Hubert Thuma.

The two politicians said that this campus will have a capacity of 1,000 places for kindergarten and 1,500 places for primary and secondary school. It will also benefit from 1,000 places for the high school cycle.

In addition, it will have accommodations that will be designed with NZeb (net zero energy building) technology. Moreover, the project in the city of Măgurele will also have facilities for children with special needs.

Magurele is currently a city that benefits from numerous kindergartens. The town in Ilfov County is among those that provide preschool education for children aged 3-7 through a normal and extended program.

Currently, there are 4 state kindergartens operating within the locality, according to the town hall’s website. Three of them have normal hours, while the fourth has extended hours. The authorities announce that two institutions are within reach of the people because they are in the center of the city.

Likewise, the residents of Vârteju and Dumitrana also have institutions where they can take their children before enrolling them in school. Approximately 260 children study in these preschool educational institutions.
