Starting on May 13, 2024, new routes will be introduced for public transport in the municipality of Târgu-Jiu.
The first route will be Dedeman – Coloana Infinitului – ANL Narciselor, with the stations: Dedeman – head of line, Victoria Mall (new station), Liceul Sportiv, Blocul Turn, Station, Police Station, Gârdu Complex, Coloana Infinitului Park, Coloana Infinitului Park 2 ( new station), Cemetery (new station), Trivoli, DP Store (new station), ANL Narciselor – head of line.
The second route will be 9 Mai – Panduri, with the stations: 9 Mai – head of line, Liceul Sportiv, Blocul Tower, Train Station, Tudor Vladimirescu Statue, Central Square, Voivod Litovoi Secondary School, Luncilor Street Barrier (new station) , Panduri 1 (new station), Panduri 2 (new station), Market RYK (new station), Panduri 3 (new station), Jiețe 1 (new station), Jiețe 2 (new station) – Voinigești head of line.
“We thus come to the support of the citizens of the areas crossed by the two routes and put to work the new trolleybuses with extended autonomy that can circulate without being connected to the contact network” stated the mayor Marcel Romanescu.
