The National Meteorological Administration issued today a bad weather weather report covering the entire country.
According to ANM, between April 23, 10:00 a.m. and April 24, 08:00 a.m., the area of rain will expand from the southern regions and gradually cover the whole country. There will be mainly showers, isolated accompanied by electrical discharges.
Water quantities will generally be 15…20 l/m2. At high altitudes in the mountains there will be precipitation in the form of sleet and snow.
The wind will have temporary intensifications in most areas, with speeds generally between 45 and 55 km/h, and in the high mountain area gusts will exceed 70…80 km/h.
Note: During Wednesday (April 24) the wind will have temporary intensifications in the west and northwest and in small areas otherwise, with speeds generally between 45 and 55 km/h.
A yellow code was also issued between April 23, 10 a.m. and April 24, 8 a.m., when quantitatively significant precipitation and wind intensification on the ridges will be recorded.
In the mentioned interval, it will rain in the Banat Mountains, the Southern and Curbura Carpathians and in the hilly area of Oltenia, and at high altitudes there will be precipitation in the form of sleet and snow. The quantities of water will be 25…35 l/sq m and isolated more than 45…50 l/sq m. Temporarily, the wind will intensify on the ridges, with gusts of 90…100 km/h.
