In his speech, Nicolae Ciucă admitted that he came to Dolj not for himself, but to appreciate the efforts of the mayor and his team in the development of the commune. He emphasized the importance of projects financed both from European funds and from other sources, as a sign of liberal administration.

It also highlighted the importance of the middle class and the support given to small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in liberal policies.
“I still ask everyone to tell people the reality, there is no point in stringing together empty words, we are doing nothing but deceiving ourselves,” said Ciucă.
Referring to the achievements of the liberal government, Nicolae Ciucă highlighted the economic growth based on investments and the undertaking of important projects such as the Craiova-Bucuresti Expressway. At the same time, he emphasized the efforts in education and health, highlighting the benefits of national programs such as hot meals for students.
“During the liberal government it was for the first time that economic growth was based more on the investment side than on the consumption side, on the initiative, the liberal assumption we made in such a way as to increase the budget for investments, they managed to dismantle a series full of projects”, declared Ciucă.
Promises must be turned into facts, says the PNL leader
The PNL president urged perseverance and action to complete the projects started and to solve the real problems facing the local communities. He called on branch leaders and mayors to have the courage to speak to the people and turn promises into deeds.
“I asked the branch leaders and the mayors through the discussions to have the courage to talk to the people, to do something for these communes in the south of the country,” Ciucă also said.
Also, in his speech, Nicolae Ciucă emphasized the importance of concrete changes in people’s lives, both for those who live in the country and for those who work abroad. In this context, the PNL leader pleaded for the transformation of infrastructure and living conditions into a national priority.
“These are the issues of people’s lives, people will not return home until they have a normal life for a man,” said the liberal, adding that “those who work abroad cannot be convinced by words but by deeds and by what I see when I come home.”
