Former Miss Ecuador Finalist, Mistress of a Drug Baron Dead in Prison, Killed on Order. Dinner

The former Miss Ecuador 2022 finalist, influencer with 174,000 Instagram followers, fatally shot on April 28, was no random victim.

She was the mistress of the famous drug lord Leandro Norero, who died in prison a year and a half ago. Pictures of him with the “beauty queen” and photos of the lavish gifts he had given her, including cars and apartments, were found on his mobile phone.

Norero was married, and media in Quito, the Ecuadorian capital, are speculating that his widow may be behind the contract killing.

Model Landy Párraga’s name has also come up in corruption investigations that have linked justice officials to organized crime.

According to El Comercio, police are investigating whether Párraga laundered money for Norero. The influencer owned a sportswear company and a goods importing business that authorities believe may have served as a cover for some of Norero’s illegal activities.

Operation “Metastasis” uncovered a network in which Ecuadorian judges and police turned a blind eye to the drug lord’s dirty dealings in exchange for money.
