The municipality of Vaslui will conclude a partnership agreement with the Vaslui Youth Federation for the implementation of the Plan of activities preceding the project “Vaslui, the Youth Capital of Romania 2025”
The activities proposed by young people are taking place starting from the current year and, through their development, the aim is to create the best conditions for the year 2025 to be a successful one. In this sense, the Vaslui City Council approved the allocation of some sums for the activities of the young people of Vaslui, prior to the year 2025.
We remind you that on November 17, 2023, the young people from Vaslui won, in Târgu Jiu, the title “Vaslui, the Youth Capital of Romania 2025”.
Annually, a city in Romania receives the title of the Youth Capital of Romania following a concept competition and is financially supported, respectively through training and consultancy, in the preparation and implementation of the initiatives in the application file.
Following the call, which took place between May 2 and July 17, 2023, the town halls of Vaslui and Slobozia submitted applications to become the Youth Capital of Romania in 2025. After this stage, the two applications were evaluated by the jury members.
The jury was formed by 25 personalities active in the public, private or non-governmental sector, with experience in the field of youth, both at the local and regional level, as well as at the national and European level.
The title “Youth Capital of Romania” 2025 will also offer the opportunity to attract other sources of funding from various public and private sources, and the holder of the title will benefit from the opportunity to host various national level events organized by public institutions and youth networks from Romania.
