A serious incident took place in the yard of an educational unit in Turnu Măgurele, as a result of which a 16-year-old minor, from Traian commune, was the victim of physical aggression. According to the information provided by the Department of Information and Public Relations within the Teleorman County Police Inspectorate, the municipal police notified ex officio and drew up a criminal file regarding the commission of the offense of hitting or other violence.
According to official information, the incident took place during the break between classes, when the victim was in the school yard. According to the Police report, the 16-year-old minor was allegedly physically assaulted by three other minors, aged between 15 and 16, residing in Segarcea-Vale and Lița.
“Considering the video images that appeared in the public space, regarding the fact that a minor was allegedly physically assaulted, following a spontaneous conflict, by three other young people, at Turnu Măgurele, the Department of Information and Public Relations within the Police Inspectorate Teleorman County is authorized to communicate the following:
The Police of the Municipality of Turnu Măgurele reported ex officio and a criminal file was drawn up under the aspect of committing the offense of hitting or other violence, in the case of a 16-year-old minor, from the Traian commune, who was allegedly physically assaulted by three other minors ( 15 and 16 years old, residing in Segarcea-Vale and Lița), while they were in the yard of an educational unit in Turnu Măgurele, during the break between classes.
The victim refused to be transported to the hospital for medical treatment at that time. The investigations continued under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Turnu Măgurele Court”, IPJ Teleorman transmitted.
