For one hour, between 12:00 and 13:00, the employees of the Emergency County Clinical Hospital are on a warning strike. According to the spokesperson of the medical unit, Camelia Strungari, the medical activity was not affected:
“The “Health Solidarity” union has informed the Bistrita County Emergency Clinical Hospital about the initiation of a warning strike, today, between 12:00-13:00, in compliance with the legal regulations. The medical activity will not be affected”, stated Camelia Strungari, for Bistrițeanul.ro
The employees of more than 300 hospitals in the country went on warning strike today during the same time interval. The main complaints are related to the wage increases proposed by the Government, which they consider “insufficient” and the fact that the amounts received for shifts and guards have not been increased.
At the end of April, the Coordinating Council of the “Health Solidarity” Federation will decide whether a general strike will be triggered.
UPDATE:
“According to the representatives of the “Health Solidarity” Union at the Bistrita County Emergency Clinical Hospital, approximately 260 people participated in the warning strike held today, who wore specific signs. The action was peaceful, and the medical activity was carried out normally”, says the spokesperson of the medical unit, Camelia Strungari.
