“Saharan dust over Romania! It stings our eyes: Don’t be afraid!”, conveys the high prelate

“Through the means of communication through the ether, we found out together, that from the vast desert of the African Sahara, like every year, clouds of extrafine dust started that reached Europe, and therefore, also in Romania”, writes IPS Calinic on the social media page of the Archdiocese of Argeș and Muscel It says that “in one year, I had the opportunity to be in Africa and endure the suffocating, hellish atmosphere of the Saharan dust, full of a burning temperature. Miraculously, I survived, by the grace of God!

What I want to emphasize is the fact that only dust came to Romania, without having a suffocating temperature…it cooled down in temperature, along the long way!”.

The Archbishop then gives some advice:

“What are we to do about the coming of this Saharan dust? Here are some points to note:

  1. Do not use air conditioning, which also brings in Saharan sand (to some extent);
  2. To wear a mask on the face, so that the dust does not enter the lungs through the mouth (so the mouth is closed and not to speak… it’s only fasting, so fasting from words);
  3. Do not sing in any way with the voice, Saharan dust is inhaled;
  4. To close windows and doors everywhere;
  5. To caress the eyes with a bandage soaked in clean water, so that our eyes do not sting and to wash our hands well. It stings our eyes. Don’t be scared!
  6. Let’s not kiss, so as not to transmit this Saharan dust epidermally. Let’s postpone the kisses!
  7. After the passage of the Saharan dust, let’s vacuum everything, carefully to remove the presence of the uninvited traveler intruder!”
