There are three stages left to play in the League 2 play-off and two in the play-out, and the teams know their schedule for the next period. The FRF and the competition’s TV rights holders have set the dates for the games in rounds 8 and 9 of the promotion group, respectively round 6 of the two groups that determine relegations.
The 8th stage of the play-off will not be an intermediate one, even if there are only three days between its debut and the last game of the 7th round. Taking into account that Sunday, May 5, is the Orthodox Easter, the games in the penultimate stage were set to take place a little earlier.
The stage starts on Thursday, May 2, from 17:00, when the CS Mioveni – FK Miercurea Ciuc match is scheduled. On Friday, from 5:00 p.m., CSC Şelimbăr – Gloria Buzău will be played, in which the guests want to maintain their five-point lead over the Ciucani, and the last down takes place on Saturday, from 12:00 p.m., in Slobozia, where the leader Unirea he can also secure 1st place, after ticking off the math promotion, if he beats the Corvinus.
In the play-out, before Easter, the 6th, penultimate stage takes place. All six games are scheduled to take place on Friday, May 3, starting at 11:00 AM!
In Group A they play at Turnu Măgurele, Piatra Neamț and Mioveni, with CFC Argeș as host, and Metaloglobus stay, while in Group B they play at Chiajna, Buftea, with CS Tunari as host, and Slatina, and Chindia stay.
If the situation in Group B is concluded, Progresul Spartac and CS Tunari being mathematically relegated, in Group A the fight to avoid relegation, from a distance, between CSC Dumbrăvița and Unirea Dej, now separated by three points, in favor of the Timișoara, remains valid. In Group A, CSM Alexandria is mathematically relegated.
