Due to the triumph of the recent premiere and the request of the public, the show “Săracu’ Gică”, directed by Cristian Gheorghe, returns this weekend on the stage of the National Theater of Opera and Operetta “Nae Leonard” Galati. Therefore, Sunday, April 7from 6:30 p.m., the people of Galața are invited to a portion of laughter.

Inspired by the picturesque life of the Romanian slum, the show “Săracu’ Gică” wears the vibrant atmosphere of genuine humor, in a story full of charm and surprises. Every element of the show, from the savory text to the passionate interpretations of the artists, is meant to transport the audience on a unique journey through the universe full of musical comedy surprises.

On the stage of the “Nae Leonard” Theatre, the show comes to life through the talent and passion of a remarkable group of artists. Among them are: Costel Donose, Mihail Anton, Florentina Andronic, Cristina Bleandura, Alexandru Tatu, Mariana Pisică/ Cristina Isabela Ionașcu, Cristina Gheorghe, Andrei Ardeleanu, Paul Nedelcuță, Cristina Boghici and Irina Popa. Along with the theater’s soloists and actors, the public will be able to watch the show’s director, Cristian Gheorghe, on stage. The revue orchestra conducted by Nicolae Mantu and the ballet coordinated by Florentina Ștefan complete the animated and lively tableau of the show.
