To come here and play with the best in the world made me relax a bit. My record against him isn’t great, probably like all of his opponents. But to go out there, have something happen in your game and enjoy every shot is a dream.

In recent years, Stuart Bingham has only reached two semi-finals, here at the Crucible in 2021 and at the World Grand Prix in the same year. In 2024, he has only one quarter-final, at the Scottish Open, before qualifying for the semifinals of the World Cup.
