The police in Olt opened an investigation after the headmistress of a school in the Valea Mare commune allegedly assaulted a 12-year-old student.

The representatives of the Olt County Police Inspectorate announced that the notification was made by the student’s father, reports News.ro.

“On April 2, around 10:50, the Olt County Police Inspectorate was notified, by calling 112, by a man from Valea Mare commune, Olt county, regarding the fact that his son, aged 12 years old, he was allegedly physically and verbally assaulted by the director of an educational unit, from Valea Mare commune, where he is a student. The police officers of the Rural Police Section no. 8 Perieți, who have drawn up a criminal file under the aspect of committing the crime of abusive behavior”, the police said.

They are continuing the investigation to establish the circumstances in which the incident occurred.
