Almost 100 traffic participants who did not respect the traffic laws, sanctioned by the traffic policemen in action, in the last 24 hours. Of these, 56 were cyclists or pedestrians.

On April 1, the traffic and public order police officers from the Bihor County Police Inspectorate continued their actions on Bihor roads, to increase the level of road safety, to combat violations committed by pedestrians and cyclists, to combat the driving of motor vehicles by people under the influence of alcoholic beverages or drugs, driving at excessive or inappropriate speed, irregular overtaking and, in general, the causes of road accidents.
As a result of the violations found in traffic on the roads of Bihor, in the last 24 hours, 98 contraventional sanctions were applied, with fines in the amount of 32,830 lei. At the same time, as a complementary measure, for committing acts that lead to the suspension of the exercise of the right to drive vehicles on public roads, the police detained seven driving licenses.
Thus, during the actions, 43 cyclists, 13 pedestrians were sanctioned, 24 sanctions were for exceeding the legal speed limits, seven for non-compliance with the legal provisions on wearing a seat belt, two were for driving under the influence of alcohol, and nine sanctions were applied for other deviations from the road traffic regime.

On April 1, at 7:18 p.m., on communal road 179, in the town of Hotar, Bihor county, the policemen of the Alesd Road Department spotted a 31-year-old man in traffic, from the municipality of Beiuș, Bihor county, while he was driving a car , having suspended the right to drive vehicles on public roads.
A criminal case has been drawn up in the case, and the police of the Alesd Road Department are continuing the investigation into the crime of driving a vehicle on public roads by a person whose right to drive has been suspended, under the supervision of a prosecutor from the Public Prosecutor’s Office near the Alesd Court.
Ginta / Detected by the police in traffic, while driving under the influence of alcohol
On April 1, at 00:35, on county road 768, in the town of Ginta, Bihor county, the policemen of Beiuș Rural Police Section No. 2 detected a 47-year-old woman from the municipality of Oradea in traffic, while she was driving a car, having an alcohol concentration of 0.70 mg/l of pure alcohol in exhaled air.
Biological samples were taken from the driver to determine her blood alcohol level.
