For Thursday, May 2, the weather will be slightly warmer than the thermal normal, announces the Sibiu Regional Weather Forecast Service.
During Thursday, the temperatures in the city of Sibiu will be between 9 and 22 degrees, the maximum in the county being announced for the northern area of the county: 24 degrees. In Păltiniș, temperatures will be between 5 and 15 degrees, and in Bâlea-Lac, between 2 and seven degrees. Only in the high mountain area can you still find snow, on the morning of May 1st, the layer measuring 69 cm at Bâlea Lac.
“The sky will be variable, with temporary clouds in the afternoon and at night, when isolated in the mountain area there will be conditions of light rain showers. The wind will blow weak and moderate, with local intensifications in the mountains and in smaller areas for the rest of the afternoon. The maximum temperatures will be between 21 and 24 degrees, and the minimum between 8 and 10 degrees,” says service meteorologist Halada Szilard.
