VIDEO/ Doljean detained for aggravated theft and destruction – Oltenia regional news

A 35-year-old man from the Calopăr commune, suspected of committing the crimes of aggravated theft and destruction, was detained, on Monday, by the Dolje police.

On Sunday, the police were alerted by a man from the Bucovăț commune, regarding the fact that unknown persons had entered the premises of a fuel distribution station, from the Bucovăț commune, from where they had stolen several goods.

“Following the investigative-operative activities carried out by the police, a 35-year-old man from the Calopăr commune was identified, suspected that on the night of March 30/31 this year, he would have entered the premises of the fuel distribution station, where, by destroying of two surveillance cameras and a thermal window, a mobile phone and the sum of 370 lei were allegedly stolen.

Based on the evidence provided, the police detained the man for 24 hours, being placed in the Detention and Preventive Arrest Center of the Dolj County Police Inspectorate”, according to IPJ Dolj.

The detained person is to be presented during this day to the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Craiova Court in order to order a preventive measure.
