A driver from Cluj almost caused a serious accident after entering a curve the wrong way.
The incident took place on Tuesday, April 30, around 10:00 a.m. on a road in the county and was recorded with the dashboard camera of another car in traffic.
On the footage captured by the dashboard camera, it can be seen how the driver enters the curve in the opposite direction, on a continuous line. Fortunately, the inattentive driver pulls the steering wheel at the last moment and thus avoids a head-on collision with another car that was driving normally.
The images were later posted on a social network and sparked numerous comments.
Some speculated that the driver may have been distracted by his cell phone.
“That was on the phone for sure, it went the wrong way around the bend,” someone said.
Other comments highlighted the reckless behavior of the driver: “A lot of people do this, they don’t keep to their lane, they speed too fast in the curves and unfortunately such incidents happen.”
“That’s what Titi Aur thought,” commented someone else.
The driver involved in the incident risks sanctions for dangerous driving behavior.
