The drama of the student from the municipality of Satu Mare blackmailed by a drug dealer

--

A 35-year-old from Satmare was sentenced by the magistrates of the Satu Mare Court to serve a sentence of 4 years and 8 months in prison with execution. And this after, repeatedly, during the months of September and October 2023, he threatened a 17-year-old student, from a high school in the municipality of Satu Mare, with acts of violence, including death, with the aim of obtaining from him sums of money, on account of a previous drug transaction.

According to PresaSM information, the minor was allegedly forced to sell drugs to another person, who did not pay, so the dealer asked the minor for the money. We are talking about the amounts of 1,500 lei, 160 lei, 600 lei and 1,500 lei – money that represents the value of 10 grams of crystal (2,000 lei) and the “interest” on this amount.

Everything came to light after the student told his mother everything about the situation he was in and they decided to pay off the blackmailer’s claims in stages. When he couldn’t take the blackmail anymore, the student reported his problems to the teacher advisor and, by mutual agreement, they notified the police. So the people from DIICOT/SCCO carried out a blackmail and caught the trafficker.

Put in front of the evidence, the individual partially admitted that he had repeatedly asked the minor for the sum of 1,500 lei, even threatening him with a beating, money that he showed represented an older loan that the minor would have requested for his mother. Brought before the judge, the individual finally admitted the facts of which he was accused.
