“Lumină din Lumină” – the 2nd edition, brings a series of dozens of concerts with Pricesne in Oradea and throughout the county. The first concert will take place on April 4, from 19:00 at the “Antonio Alexe” Arena in Oradea and will be supported by the Tronos group of the Patriarchal Cathedral in Bucharest, one of the most famous Byzantine music groups in Romania, and by artists Maria Coman, Antonela Ferche – Butiu, Alexandra Chira and Elena Buda.
“These series of concerts show value for money. Beyond its etymological meaning, as a psaltic chant performed at the Liturgy, Pricesnelle are a popular Romanian religious creation. In the concerts we will organize, we want to transpose that temple atmosphere into the performance hall.” emphasized the manager of the Culture Center of Bihor County, Liviu Butiu.
They will resound together with the toaca, the specific instrument of this celebration, original interpretations of the Pricesne, which aim to light the light in the soul of the Bihoren on the occasion of the Savior’s Resurrection. Also, for those who cannot participate physically, but also to reach the homes of as many Romanians as possible, the concert will also be broadcast by Romanian Television (TVR) on Good Friday, on May 3.

Tickets for the event at the “Antonio Alexe” Arena can be purchased at the price of 15 lei by cash payment at the Regina Maria Theater cashier.
“Light from Light” is organized by the Bihor County Council through the Bihor County Culture Center, in partnership with the Bihor County School Inspectorate, the Orthodox Bishopric of Oradea, Visit Oradea, TVR and Astoria Grand Hotel.
