The National Trade Union Bloc, through the Romanian Postal Workers Union, reports this morning more pressure being put on postal workers in Cluj, union members, who want to go on strike. Last night, they filmed several employees who were allegedly sent to Cluj from Bucharest to replace the strikers in the Logistic and Courier Regional Cluj hub of the Romanian Post.
Concretely, the NBS shows, the images show 13 Romanian Post employees, sent from Bucharest, to replace those who went on strike today in the Cluj Regional Logistics and Courier hub. As a result, the postal workers from the hub in Cluj protested and demanded that they leave the premises, as they are not employees of this branch of the Romanian National Post Company.

Romanian postmen went on a general strike today. A number of 18,000 of the more than 21,000 employees of the Romanian Post, i.e. a percentage of 90%, regardless of their position, regardless of their responsibilities and seniority, from July 2024 will have the minimum wage in the economy, a fact that aroused the dissatisfaction of the employees, which triggered the labor conflict and which go on strike.
