GoWell Urgent Care celebrates its Woodbridge clinic | News

GoWell Urgent Care held a formal ribbon-cutting Friday, April 26 for its clinic at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center, across from Wegmans.

The clinic opened in October but held off on the celebration until spring in hopes of better weather. This is GoWell’s second urgent care clinic, growing from its original Warrenton location.

Chief Executive Officer George Webb said GoWell has built a reputation for great patient care over the past five years, earning 4.8 stars on average from nearly 2,500 Google reviews.

“If you take 10 minutes looking at the reviews, you will see clearly what other patients have been saying about us,” he said. “Usually, people aren’t inclined to leave a review, and they are more likely to do so when they have a bad experience. That we have so many reviews, and of such a high caliber, provides pretty good evidence we place patient satisfaction at the top of our priorities.”

Robert Sweeney, the president & CEO of the Prince William County Chamber of Commerce, was among a group who gathered for the ceremony, along with Prince William County Supervisor Margaret Franklin and her chief of staff, Pamela Montgomery. Sweeney said he looked forward to GoWell’s plans for more Prince William County locations in the future.

GoWell quickly homed in on Woodbridge when evaluating options for its first location in Prince William County, Webb said.

“We have a very sophisticated set of analytical tools to help us identify where the need is greatest,” he said. “We thought Woodbridge needed a great urgent care.”

GoWell is located at 14900 Potomac Town Place in Woodbridge and is open from 8 am to 8 pm, 365 days a year. It is a full-service urgent care, including X-ray services. It also offers wellness services, including bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, a process by which laboratory-made hormones are designed to identically match a person’s own hormones.
