Four newspaper kiosks in Bistrita have ceased operations, the company that owned them announced in a message posted on a social network. The one from Hala Decebal has already been donated. Written publications will now only be available for purchase at the kiosk in the historic center.

“Newspaper kiosks in Bistrita are closing: Împaratul Traian – Piață, Decebal – Hala, Năsăudului-Han and Big str. The kiosk on Liviu Rebreanu Street, in front of Domus, remains OPEN, where you can buy all the newspapers, magazines, complete books, book collections, children’s publications, collections to read, listen to or build”, Mariana Beca said on Facebook.

Some of those who saw the ad expressed that they regretted getting into this situation. “The regret is also from our side. 34 years of activity with the same company with the same profile is not little…”, commented Mariana Beca.

Some time ago, newsstands sold hundreds of newspapers daily. Now, however, most have gone online.
