On Tuesday, Ioana Ramona Bruynseels submitted her candidacy to the District 1 City Hall on behalf of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), on which occasion she declared that the mayor Clotilde Armand had to leave, because the people felt neglected and that she proposes to solve citizens’ problems.
“The people of Sector 1 felt totally neglected in the last four years. They need a mayor who shows them care, who shows them that he cares about their problems, who wants to solve their problems. I, for one, am ready, I know how to do this and I want to do it with all my heart. We will have four years of further development, four years in which people will feel that they have a mayor, four years with a mayor who will be on the street, among them and will also be in the town hall, where we will transform what is not working now in efficiency, in services made available to the real citizen (…). We must get rid of the mess, the rats, the incompetence and, more than that, the bad faith”, said Ioana Ramona Bruynseels.
For his part, the president of AUR, George Simion, stated that the political formation he represents has “a competent, clean, beautiful offer” for Sector 1.
- “Today, throughout the day, more files are being submitted. We surrender the last sector in Bucharest, Sector 1, and we publicly declare war both on the French intelligence services and the French state, which currently runs Sector 1, and on the security forces, who have nothing to do with politics (…). I am convinced that we will bring back victory in Sector 1 and Sector 2 and in several Sectors of the Capital”, added George Simion.
For his part, the AUR candidate for the Capital City Hall, Mihai Enache, stated that the citizens of Bucharest have a choice at the Capital City Hall and at the sector ones between the “incompetents” and the “golden alternative”, people with results in their careers.
