The data represent estimates of the weekly average of air temperature deviations and precipitation amounts compared to the average of the period 2004-2023, states ANM.
Week 1 – 7 April
For the first week of April, meteorologists are announcing higher than normal temperatures for this period, throughout the country.
Precipitation will be deficient in most of Romania, with the exception of the northwestern regions.
Week 8 – 14 April
Next, throughout the country, temperatures will be higher than those specific to the date.
Precipitation amounts will be higher than usual in all regions, but especially in the mountains.
Week 15 – 21 April
The second half of April begins with “slightly higher than normal” temperatures, meteorologists announce.
At the same time, in most of the country, “the rainfall regime will be slightly surplus”.
Week 22 – 28 April
Thermal values will continue to be, throughout the country, above the usual ones for this period.
As for rainfall amounts, they “will generally be close to normal for this period across most of the country.”
