Ploiești City Hall announces that on Friday, March 29, the repair work will be resumed on Bulevardul Independentei.
In the first stage, the wearing asphalt layer will be poured on the section between Rondul 2 (TCE 13 Decembrie station, Restaurant The New London) – the Gara de Sud roundabout.
“Since the works will be carried out, alternatively, on the 2 directions of traffic, without closing the road traffic completely, in order not to complicate the execution of the works and to avoid blockages in the road traffic, we ask the drivers of vehicles, who move on the axis B- dul Independêsi – B-dul București, to use detour routes,” the mayor’s office said.
The executor of these works is the Omega Star Sistem SRL Association (association leader) & Terra Strade Total Construct SRL (Associate) & SC Oyl Company Holding AG SRL (Associate).
The modernization works of the boulevard with chestnuts started in September 2023 and were supposed to be completed by the end of last year, including the section between the statue of Radu Stanian and Post Office No. 1 in the city center.
This did not happen, with Mayor Volosevici citing the weather conditions, even though the weather was mostly favorable for the hikers.
