Survey Regarding the Fight for the Capital City Hall, the First Conducted After Gabriela Firea’s Entry into the Race

The three are followed by the liberal candidate Sebastian Burduja, who would get 15% of the votes, and the AUR candidate, Mihai Enache, with 7%.

At the same time, 58% of those surveyed are of the opinion that the decision of the PSD-PNL Alliance to abandon the joint candidate Cătălin Cîrstoiu was a good one. 18% believe that the decision was wrong, and 24% do not know or do not answer.

The ranking looks different regarding the vote for the General Council of the Municipality of Bucharest (CGMB). According to the poll cited, PSD would get 31% of the votes, United Right Alliance – 25%, PNL – 20%, PUSL – 10%, AUR – 9%, SOS Romania – 2% and REPER – 1%.

The results of the same research also show that 42% of Bucharest residents declare themselves satisfied and very satisfied with the way things look in the Capital. On the opposite side, 36% of respondents are dissatisfied or very dissatisfied with the situation in Bucharest, and 22% have a neutral opinion.

The survey also measured the options of the citizens of Bucharest related to the elections for the European Parliament. Thus, according to the results, the PSD-PNL Alliance would register a score of 50% in the Capital, followed by the United Right Alliance – 26%, AUR – 11%, PUSL – 9%, SOS Romania – 1%, REPER – 2%.

The survey was conducted between April 24 and 27, on a sample of 1,150 people, representative of the adult population in Bucharest. The data were collected through the door-to-door method. The maximum sampling error is +/- 2.9% at a 95% confidence level.
