The DNA prosecutors today ordered the extension of the judicial control measure for another 60 days against Iulian Dumitrescu, the suspended president of the Prahova County Council.

Iulian Dumitrescu was placed under judicial control, by the DNA prosecutors, on February 1, being the subject of a file in which he is accused of bribery and false statements.

Today, DNA prosecutors ordered the extension of this measure for another 60 days.

During this time, Dumitrescu cannot exercise his position as president of the Prahova County Council.

We remind you that the liberal mayors of Prahova requested the PNL leadership that Iulian Dumitrescu be the party’s candidate in the local elections for the presidency of the Prahova County Council.
