Two students from Bucharest will represent Romania in the final of the European Money contest…

More than 6,000 students, aged between 13-15 years, from 390 schools, high schools and colleges at the national level registered for the 6th edition of the national final of the European Money Quiz competition, organized by the Romanian Association of Banks in partnership with the National Bank of Romania, the Financial Supervisory Authority, the Ministry of Finance and the Romanian Banking Institute.

European Money Quiz is a European competition that took place in March as part of Global Money Week and European Money Week, international programs to increase the level of financial and digital education.

Following the three sessions organized this year in Romania, the 1st place was won by students from Bucharest, respectively from “Spiru Haret” National College, “Nicolae Labiş” Secondary School and School no. 41.

In each session, the winners of the first place receive a prize worth 3,000 lei net, the winners of the second prize 2,000 lei, and the occupiers of the third place a prize of 1,000 lei.

Among the winners of the first places, two students with the best score, from the “Spiru Haret” National College and the “Nicolae Labiş” Secondary School, will represent Romania and will compete in the European finals of the financial education competition European Money Quiz, which is taking place on April 19, 2024, in Brussels.

More than 30 European countries participate in the competition, and the winners will receive the title of European Money Champions in 2024 and cash prizes.
