More than 7,400 people are registered in Olt county as looking for a job, unemployment is increasing. For the month of February, AJOFM Olt reports today an unemployment rate of 5.55%.
At the end of last month, 7,415 unemployed (of which 3,353 were women) were registered in the records of the Olt County Employment Agency, the unemployment rate being 5.55%.
“Compared to the previous month, when the unemployment rate was 5.51%, this month this indicator registered an increase of 0.04 pp. Out of the total of 7,415 people registered in the records of the AJOFM Olt, 1,391 were beneficiaries of allowances unemployment, and 6,024 were unemployed without compensation. As for the place of residence, 6,013 unemployed people come from rural areas and 1,402 from urban areas. The unemployed with a secondary education level have the highest share in the total number of unemployed registered in the AJOFM Olt records (41.27 %), then the unemployed with a primary education level and no education (20.09 %), followed by those with an education level high school (18.13%), and 17.44% have those with professional training. The unemployed with post-secondary education level represent 1.24%, and those with higher education have a share of 1.83%,, unemployment agency data show.
The structure of unemployment by age group is as follows:
– under 25 years: 688 people
-between 25-29 years: 584
-between 30-39 years: 988
-between 40-49 years: 1866
– between 50-55 years: 1642
– over 55 years: 1647.
The structure of the registered unemployed according to employability level, determined by profiling, is as follows: 2,110 people with very little employability, 3,559 with little employability, 1,602 with average employability, and 144 with easy employability.
