As part of a national campaign to check economic agents that deal with the manufacture of other products from non-metallic minerals and the trade of wood and construction materials, ITM Argeș carried out, between March 18-22, 45 checks.

According to a press release of this institution, 40 sanctions were applied on this occasion, of which 12 in the field of labor relations, respectively 9 fines totaling 53,500 lei, and 28 in the field of safety and health at work, respectively 12 fines totaling 46,500 lei.
Also, the ITM inspectors identified two people who were performing activities without having concluded an individual employment contract, in written form, at the latest on the day before the employee started the activity.
The main deficiencies found: failure to conclude the individual employment contract, in written form, failure to highlight the hours of work performed by the employee, failure to initiate collective bargaining at unit level, failure to provide training in the field of safety and health at work upon employment and periodically, failure to periodically check work equipment, failure to prepare a prevention and protection plan based on the assessment of all existing risks at the workplace, the non-authorization of the professions provided for by the specific legislation – it is also stated in the press release.
