There is a European arrest warrant issued by the Romanian authorities on the name of the man, whose identity or citizenship have not been made public. The arrested person was previously the leader of the Hell Angels gang.

National Police agents, in a joint operation with the German BKA and the Romanian Police, coordinated by Europol, arrested the current leader in Spain of the MC Comanches motorcycle gang in the city of Benalmádena, Malaga.

According to the Spanish Police, two raids and searches were carried out in Benalmádena (Malaga), at his usual residence and at a recently created company dedicated to the rental of vehicles, in which a firearm, 32 cartridges, white weapons and fake documents

The investigation began as officers investigated the involvement of the MC Comanches biker gang in the road transport of narcotics from Spain to Central and Northern Europe.

During the investigation, late last year, agents arrested one of the MC Comanches leaders in Marbella because he had a European Arrest and Surrender Warrant from German authorities, who believed he had direct links to drug trafficking between Spain and northern Europe.
Further investigations revealed that once arrested and handed over to Germany, he had left the now arrested as the leader of the motorcycle gang, responsible for managing the illicit business.

Once the new leader of the criminal structure was identified, it was discovered that he was also wanted by the Romanian authorities for attempted murder.

The agents’ research, in collaboration with the German and Romanian police, led to the discovery that the fugitive could live in the province of Malaga. Later, his residence was identified, in Benalmádena (Malaga), from where, according to the investigators, he would have coordinated the transport and distribution of narcotic substances in Central and Northern Europe with the help of vans.

In order to carry out the arrest, due to the dangerous nature of the suspect, the intervention of agents from the Special Security Operational Groups was necessary.
