The Olt County Council signed today the financing contract, through which 15 million lei are obtained for the purchase of 15 minibuses for the transport of students in Olt County.
The minibuses will reach school students in the localities of Osica de Sus, Tufeni, Scarișoara, Crâmpoia, Cilieni, Fălcoiu, Văleni, Brastavătu, Izbiceni, Rusănești, Tia Mare, Dăneasa, Mărunței, Dobrun, Curtișoara.
The project was submitted within the “Program on improving air quality and reducing the amount of greenhouse gas emissions, by using less polluting vehicles such as electric, hybrid and compressed natural gas powered minibuses to transport students” and has funding through the Environment Fund Agency.
“This project joins the one, in the amount of 35 million lei, submitted within the National Recovery and Resilience Program, which aims to purchase 20 electric minibuses.
For both financing programs, the selection criterion of the beneficiary localities was the large number of students. Together, we contribute to a cleaner environment and provide our students with safe and environmentally friendly means of transport.” the CJ Olt representatives sent.
