The mayor of the capital, Nicusor Dan, announced on Thursday that the head of the Bucharest Hospitals and Medical Services Administration, Gabriela Oana Sivache, will be replaced today, because the prosecutor’s office forbids her to hold the position of director for 60 days, reports News.ro .

“First of all, to be very clear, everyone who is suspected must be investigated. this is the zero point. But, what can a normal Romanian citizen think when the mayor of Bucharest, for three years, voted by 260,000 people, speaks in one voice, corruption, undue benefits of billions of euros, sector PUZs (.. ) and there is no kind of control and the DNA comes and says that it found corruption of 39,000 lei. I ask you. Or the Prosecutor’s Office comes and says that it found corruption in Brasov, that the deputy mayor gave a space to a PNG to make an exposé. I wonder what the Romanian citizen thinks about the Romanian Judiciary in this combination of facts”, said Nicusor Dan, about the accusations brought to the head of the ASSMB.

“Now, concretely, about Mrs. Oana Sivache, I received from the lady’s lawyer, that the DNA did not qualify to send officially, I received the fact that the Prosecutor’s Office forbids her to hold the position of director for 60 days. We have taken note and we are making arrangements to replace her with someone”, said the mayor, specifying that the decision will be made today.

The head of the Administration of Bucharest Hospitals and Medical Services, Gabriela Oana Sivache, and the interim manager of the Coltea Hospital, Ioan Bogdan Furtună, were placed under judicial control for 60 days by DNA prosecutors.
