The National Meteorological Administration has issued a code yellow weather warning of bad weather for several counties in the country, including Cluj.
According to experts, between March 28, 10:00 a.m. and March 29, 9:00 p.m., there will be temporary wind intensifications in most of the country, with speeds generally of 45…55 km/h, and in the mountains the gusts will exceed 60…70 km/h.
There will also be showers, in the northern half of the country, throughout Thursday (March 28) and on the night of Thursday to Friday (March 28/29), the instability will be temporarily accentuated and there will be rain, on restricted areas accompanied by electrical discharges, and especially in the mountain area, amounts of water of 15…20 l/m2 will accumulate, favoring the melting of the snow layer.
During the night from Thursday to Friday, the wind will be particularly strong in Crișana, Maramureș, the north-west of Moldova and locally in Transylvania where it will show intensification with speeds generally of 55…65 km/h, and in the high area of the Mountains Apuseni and the Eastern Carpathians, the gusts will exceed 90…100 km/h.
