On April 3, 2024, it will be 174 years since the establishment of the Romanian Gendarmerie. On this occasion, the Tulcea County Gendarmerie Inspectorate is organizing various activities that will begin on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
The anniversary moment dedicated to Arma Day will be marked by Tulcena gendarmes through a series of activities. They will start on Saturday, March 30, 2024, starting at 10:00 a.m., in the Civic Square in the municipality of Tulcea, where various activities will be organized: presentation of techniques and means of intervention, special vehicles from the Tulcea Gendarmerie, exercises with service dogs and the presentation of offers educational in order to select candidates for the post-secondary schools of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Tulcea County Gendarmerie Inspectorate sends through a press release.
On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the headquarters of the unit, the orders for promotion to the next military rank will be presented, before the expiration of the minimum internship for gendarmes, who meet the legal conditions and who have very good results in the activity. Also, diplomas of merit will be awarded to military personnel who have distinguished themselves in their professional activity through the exemplary performance of their duties.
Starting at 10:00 a.m., at the headquarters of the Tulcea Military Circle, there will be a tribute meeting dedicated to the Day of the Romanian Gendarmerie, where representatives of the institutions and public authorities with which the Tulcea Gendarmerie cooperates and collaborates will be invited, the cited source pointed out.
