The weather will warm up in the south and east of the country, while in the rest of the regions the thermal values will be in line with those recorded the previous day. Here are the weather highlights for March 28:
Temperatures: Maximums will vary between 12 degrees Celsius in the depressions in eastern Transylvania and 23-24 degrees Celsius in the south and southeast. Lows will generally be between 2 and 10 degrees Celsius.
The sky: There will be temporary cloud cover across the country. There will be rain, especially in the form of showers, in Crisana, Maramureș and Transylvania, locally in Banat, Moldova and Oltenia, and on restricted areas in other areas. In the mountains and in the northwest of the country, significant amounts of water can accumulate, exceeding 15-20 l/m2. At high altitudes, there will also be precipitation in the form of sleet and snow.
The wind: There will be temporary wind intensifications in most of the country, with speeds generally 45-55 km/h. In mountainous areas, wind gusts will exceed 60-70 km/h.
Weather warnings: Increased attention is recommended in conditions of strong winds and heavy precipitation, especially in mountainous areas and in the northwest of the country.
Other phenomena: Fog may form in places.
