They played with danger on the outskirts of the city and filmed the so-called “fun”. Several children from Galati found a dangerous projectile from the Second World War. But instead of calling 112, they picked him up and even took a picture of themselves with the device that could explode at any time.

The projectile was abandoned by the children in the same place where they found it, but that was after they had photographed themselves, filmed themselves with it and posted the images on a social network. A local from the outskirts of Movileni village saw what the children were doing and drew their attention to the fact that it was very dangerous and they decided to abandon him in that place.

The man is the one who called 112 and notified the authorities, and soon a police crew arrived there and stayed near the projectile to guard it, until the pyrotechnic team from the Emergency Situations Inspectorate arrived, a team that lifted the project safely and transported it to Galati.

Firefighters said that when such projectiles are found, they should not be touched, they should not be moved from their place considering that they can be found in any place in the field, where agricultural activities are carried out or in construction sites or even on the banks of some rivers. That’s what happened last week when in Cavadineşti, also in Galati, a child found an explosive projectile and took it to the school premises.
