The police officers of the Tulcea Organized Crime Service, together with the prosecutors of the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism – Tulcea Territorial Office, documented the criminal activity of a woman, investigated for committing the crimes of rape against a minor and child pornography, both in continuous form.

From the evidence administered, it emerged that, between October 2023 and February 2024, she, taking advantage of the authority she had over the 13-year-old minor injured person, under her care, protection and education, at different time intervals, but in carrying out the same criminal resolution, he would have maintained sexual acts with the victim, at the instigation of another investigated person, for the purpose of producing pornographic materials.

The investigated woman would have made such materials using her personal mobile phone, would have owned them in this computer system and distributed them to the other investigated, at his request, through a social network.

On March 25, 2024, the prosecutors of the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism – Tulcea Territorial Office ordered her detention for 24 hours.

Today, the rights and freedoms judge of the Tulcea Court ordered the preventive arrest of the woman for 30 days.

We specify that the prosecutors of the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism – Tulcea Territorial Office have proposed the preventive arrest in absentia of the other suspect, who is evading criminal prosecution, who was charged with the crimes of inciting the rape of a minor and child pornography, both in continuous form.

We make it clear that, throughout the entire criminal process, the investigated persons benefit from the procedural rights and guarantees provided by the Code of Criminal Procedure, as well as the presumption of innocence.
