The USR deputy from Constanţa, Stelian Ion, is on the side of the young people from the city by the sea.
For this reason, Stelian Ion, together with his colleague from the United Right Alliance, Bogdan Bola, met with several young people from the city to discuss their problems and needs.
The announcement was made by the deputy himself on his official Facebook page.
“Young people want a future here, at home, in Constanța. And it’s our duty to provide it, because we, their parents and grandparents, have created this world where they don’t always feel valued as they deserve.
These days, together with my colleague from the Alliance, Bogdan Bola, I discussed with the young people their expectations from the future mayor. We were glad to hear that they want to stay, because the city has tremendous potential.
What are we doing to fulfill this potential that the politicians of the last 20 years, who think they are the masters of Constanta, have ignored? I heard many ideas, many solutions, and I discovered that young people are much more pragmatic and don’t let themselves be fooled by populism and idle talk.
First of all, we need to invest in education, in schools, but also in extracurricular activities, so that every child is stimulated, discovers his qualities and abilities and makes his own way in life.
Constanța is not allowed to lose any more young people with potential and I will make sure of this. I also told them that my commitment is a quality education.
I want to make Constanta a place where every young person has a real chance to follow their dreams and develop on all levels. Let’s live in a city where young people can contribute to the changes we want.
And you know what? I am convinced that we can do this together. I will consult with young people on the city’s projects, let’s make sure that they meet their needs and expectations and that the administration offers modern solutions.
