The Oradea-Arad Express Road is up for auction. The works will start in autumn

The contracts for the construction of the 3 lots of this high-speed road have a total estimated value of 8.5 billion lei (without VAT):

• Lot 1 (33.7 km), to which is added the connecting road between DN 79 and Salonta (5.3 km).
• Lot 2 (39.7 km), to which is added the connecting road to the border with Hungary (10 km
• Lot 3 (47.07 km), to which is added the connecting road with the Arad West industrial area (2.9 km)

The announcements for lots 1 and 3 were published in SEAP on February 23, 2024, with a deadline for submission of offers on May 11, 2024, and the tender announcement for the construction of lot 2 of the Arad – Oradea Express Road was published in SEAP , on 22.03.2024.
The estimated value of the works execution contract for this lot is 3.4 billion lei, excluding VAT.

The object of the contract is the execution of works for the Arad – Oradea Express Road Lot 2, approximately 39.7 km long.

The duration of the 84-month contract is detailed as follows:

• 24 months – duration of execution of works
• 60 months minimum duration related to the warranty period

The deadline for submitting offers is May 9 of this year.
