Aircraft include MiG-27 and MiG-29 fighters as well as Su-24 bombers. The information was published even by the Russian pro-war propaganda press, in the context of the conflict launched by Russia against Ukraine.

Ukraine, the final destination. MiG-29, MiG-27 and Su-24 aircraft are no longer operational, but the Ukrainians can use them as decoys or spare parts

The equipment purchased by the American side has reached the end of its service life and can no longer be used for its intended purpose.

It is not excluded that the planes will later be transferred to Ukraine. Ukrainian military specialists could disassemble the aircraft and use the parts for the aircraft in the Air Force equipment. Also, obsolete airframes could be used as airfield decoys for Russian missiles.

As the propaganda in the Russian Federation laments, Western states are buying Soviet military equipment from all over the world to support Ukraine.

On the other hand, Kazakhstan continues to be drawn into the Western sphere of influence in Central Asia, in an attempt to separate from Russia one of the most important military and strategic allies in the ex-Soviet space.

In this sense, the Russian propaganda portals noted that, recently, visits to Kazakhstan by some politicians from the so-called “unfriendly” states with the Russian Federation have become more frequent.

For example, on April 24, the British foreign minister, David Cameron, was in Astana. During the visit, cooperation agreements in trade, education, environment and mineral supply were signed between the parties.

Cameron noted that, geographically, Kazakhstan is surrounded by powerful neighbors such as Russia, China, Afghanistan and Iran. That is why, in his opinion, it is important for London to have a significant presence in this difficult region.
