Serbia will soon face major challenges that will threaten its vital national interests, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucici warned. In the evening of Tuesday, March 26, he posted a message on a social network in which he states that difficult days are ahead for Serbia and announced the challenges that await the country in a short time.

“It is difficult to say what news we have received in the last 48 hours… The vital national interests of both Serbia and the Republic of Serbia are directly threatened,” he wrote, quoted by the TASS agency.

Vucici also announced that, in the following days, he will inform the Serbian people about all the problems that await them.

“It will be difficult. We will fight. Serbia will win,” he added.

Recently, Vucic declared that Serbia could leave the Council of Europe. According to him, if Kosovo’s application for accession is approved, this would mean the expulsion of Serbia.

In addition, despite the negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina, Vucici categorically rejected the possibility of recognizing the independence of Kosovo. He repeated this several times and gave assurances that Serbia will not allow Kosovo to become a member of the UN or any organization, institution or agency related to the UN and will not consider any proposal in this regard.
