Video of the moment when a police car hits an ATV that it was following and overturns it, in a city in Moldova

The shooting is dated February 18, but the video images appeared online on Monday. They show how the driver of the ATV is being chased by the police, and at one point he turns suddenly to the left, trying to enter a yard, but is hit from behind by the police car.

The ATV overturned and its driver hit the open gate. The policemen then got out of the special vehicle and picked up the man.

The head of the IGP Communication and Protocol Section, Diana Fetco, confirmed the incident: “During his mission, the policeman summoned by turning on the sound and light system an ATV driven by a 40-year-old man from the city of Edineț, for uneven driving” .

As a result of the impact, no one was injured and only material damage was recorded. According to the police, both the agent behind the wheel of the car and the driver of the ATV were tested, and the results indicated that they were not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the traffic accident.
