UPDATE: The police from Bechet established that a car driven by a 75-year-old man, from the Rojişte commune, on DN 55, within the radius of the Sadova locality, in the direction of Bechet, for reasons to be determined following the investigations, was entered the opposite direction of travel, colliding with a car driven by a 25-year-old man from Bechet.
As a result of the road accident, unfortunately, the 75-year-old driver died.
Also, the other driver, as well as 3 other people, passengers in the car driven by him and a woman, passenger in the car driven by the 75-year-old man, required medical attention. The 25-year-old driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result being negative.
A road accident happened, on DN 55, in the town of Sadova, Dolj county, as a result of which one person died and five others were injured. 2 cars were involved in the accident. A person is resuscitated and does not respond to maneuvers. Road traffic is carried out on a single line, alternatively, by directing the police, without problems regarding traffic values.
Traffic is expected to resume in 60 minutes, according to IPJ Dolj.
The police have drawn up a criminal file under the aspect of committing the crimes of culpable homicide and culpable bodily injury. Research is being continued to establish the exact circumstances in which the accident occurred.
