Hundreds of children from the whole country had a day full of joy and fun at the Călărași Zoo Leisure Complex on the second day of Easter, participating in the exciting event called “Egg Hunt”. Organized by the Călărași Zoo Leisure Complex and the Călărași City Hall, the event was a resounding success, benefiting from the support of institutions and organizations such as the Călărași County Gendarmerie Inspectorate, SIDEPOL Călărași, Crucea Roșie Călărași and Texas Bar BQ.
With a varied programme, the event offered a wide range of exciting activities, from egg hunts and bunny races to dance competitions. The children were excited to participate in every activity and the festive atmosphere was contagious.
Nae Cosmina, spokeswoman for the Călărași Zoo Leisure Complex, expressed the organizers’ satisfaction with the success of the event and thanked all those involved in its realization. “Călărași Municipality is our main supporter and we thank them for trusting us and appreciating our ideas, helping us achieve what we have wanted for a long time: an Easter festival that is not only to an egg hunt, but to incorporate a larger concept“, stated Cosmina.
He also emphasized the involvement and support brought by partners, especially the volunteers from Mihai Eminescu High School, who contributed significantly to the smooth running of the event.
“More than 2000 people were at the zoo today and we are very happy and thank you. Our festival turned out exactly as we wanted, it was a unique event for the Dumbrava Leisure Complex. Călărași City Hall is our main supporter and we thank them for trusting us and appreciating our ideas, helping us achieve what we have wanted for a long time: an Easter festival that is not only an egg hunt, but to incorporate a larger concept.”
The event was not only an occasion for fun, but also for generosity. Bogdan Marinescu from SIDEPOL Călărași highlighted the fact that, during the event, important funds were collected for their “Sit at the Table with a Good Deed” project. “Today we made a lot of children happy, we had fun, we played, but last but not least, we donated some money for our other project”, Marinescu mentioned.
“On the second day of Easter, we, the Democratic Union of Policemen, gathered together with our partners: Roger Design, the ZOO Complex, IPJ Călărași, the Romanian Gendarmerie, the Red Cross and Texas BQ, for a unique event: the Egg Hunt at the ZOO, for the little ones. Today we made a lot of children happy, we had fun, we played, but last but not least, we donated some money for our other project: “Sit at the table with a good deed”. We assure you of all the necessary community support.”
Cristina Sava, entrepreneur at Texas Bar BQ, emphasized the importance of collaboration and thanked the organizers and partners for their support. “The kids were eager to go out and eat burgers, of course. I would like to thank first of all the organizers, in partnership with Călărași City Hall, and last but not least our partners SIDEPOL, the Red Cross and the Gendarmerie”said Sava, highlighting their joint efforts in supporting the “Sit at the Table with a Good Deed” campaign.
Thus, the Easter Festival at the Călărași Zoo Leisure Complex not only brought joy and fun to children from all over the country, but also highlighted the solidarity and generosity of the community.
