A new tragedy on the roads in Romania on the third day of Easter. Two people lost their lives following a traffic accident on county road 101I, in the Buda village area of ​​Aricestii Rahtivani commune, in Prahova.

A Dacia Logan car with two passengers was crushed by a tanker. Following the strong impact, the driver died on the spot, while the passenger was pulled out of the pile of animals by rescuers. SMURD paramedics resuscitated him for several tens of minutes, but without success.

“Military firefighters from Detachments 1 and 2 Ploieşti intervene with a fire truck, an extrication truck and a SMURD mobile intensive care ambulance. The Bucharest SMURD helicopter will also intervene. A tanker truck (unladen) and a car in which there were two passengers. (…) The passengers from the car were extracted and taken over by the medical crews. Unfortunately, the driver was pronounced dead by the doctor on the spot,” said the ISU representatives.

And there were two people in the tank, but none of them were injured, ISU Prahova representatives reported.
